The AVentPro All Hands Meeting

2025 was a big year for the AVentPro team! 

Moving into our new office space was an important milestone in our growth. First, because of the growth that made moving into a larger office space and warehouse a necessity, but also because we know it will facilitate our growth in the future.

We introduced the AVRO XR Studio within our new office space. The ground-level production studio gave us, for the first time ever, an in-house venue for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, while bringing us into the world of high-end film production. 

We added new members to our team, started relationships with more local industry partners, grew with our clients, and continued to support the events industry here at home.

In a year full of milestones, growth, and so much to celebrate, we decided to end the year with our All Hands meeting. This annual meeting is one we look forward to each year. It’s crucial to our continued growth, supporting our team members as effectively as possible, and to ensure we continue to support and develop best practices in event production.

Gathering and Sharing Feedback.

One of the most important components of the All Hands meeting is creating a feedback loop. 

Everybody in the organization has the opportunity to share feedback. Whether it’s strides that we’ve noted in members of our team or our processes, positive reviews from our event partners and clients, or areas we believe we can improve our processes to fit our growing team and offerings. This open forum allows us to really understand what everybody on our team is experiencing and get a holistic view of how we’re operating as an organization.

We also share what we want to do more of – types of events we want to support, new ways we can grow our offerings, technology we want to implement more often, and solutions we think our customers would benefit from.

Essentially, we’ve always been proud to provide best-in-class live events services and be one of the best production resources in Manitoba. By sharing candid feedback with our team, we ensure that we never get complacent, but instead celebrate our successes while focusing on continuous improvement.

One of the reasons we wanted to have the All Hands meeting towards the end of the year is so that we could take the feedback we gathered from the entire team and implement the ideas shared during our beginning-of-year planning meetings.

Fostering Internal Connections.

Our team works incredibly closely together, and because of that, we consider ourselves to have great connections! However, our team is constantly supporting several simultaneous events, which means each member of our team isn’t necessarily working closely throughout each season of the year. Not to mention, with our growth comes expansion. From new team members to new live event experiences, our dynamics are constantly evolving.

During these meetings, we make a concerted effort to help our team members get to know others who they may not work with often or are new to the AVentPro crew. We get to share the new experiences or skills we may have gained during the year while bonding as a team.

This allows us to improve our own communication so that we show up as the best version of our team for every event.

As we build these connections, we also have frank discussions about how we can better support each other. This includes knowledge sharing, asking questions, discovering how team members want to grow and evolve personally, and coming up with plans for ongoing training and education.

Celebrating Our Team.

Like we said, 2025 was a great year, and we wanted a chance to recognize the people who were responsible for it. This year’s All Hands meeting was also about celebrating our team and the incredible work they’ve done.

The meeting doubled as our holiday party, and once the business was done, it was time to get festive! We catered dinner, kicked back, relaxed, and enjoyed each other’s company.
