We know that great weather in Canada is condensed to a few short months each year – so we don’t blame our clients and event partners for taking advantage of the summer season to enjoy some time off work. From family vacations to shortened work hours, we hope you were able to use the past few months as an opportunity to relax and recharge before the temperatures start to drop.

For those of you who are back in full swing and are looking to catch up on what was going on while you were away, here’s what you missed on our blog.

How to Plan for Rain at Outdoor Events.

We kicked off the season by sharing how you can prepare for outdoor events in a city with notoriously unpredictable weather. If you’re looking to schedule an outdoor event this fall or even starting to think about next summer, this blog will help you feel prepared for potential weather complications during outdoor events so you can approach planning for them with confidence.

Intentionally Designing our New Office Space.

This summer, there was no shortage of updates about our new office space – including this one about how we went about designing it!

The truth is, designing an office space is about more than deciding a logical place for everything to go. We believe that world-class events are meticulously planned for, and in order to produce great events, the entire production process, including the space where the planning happens, needs to support the outcomes we want to achieve.

Learn more about how we designed our new office and discover each of our purpose-built spaces in our June Blog.

The Difference Between an Event Planner and an Event Production Team.

What exactly is an event production partner? Is that different than an AV supplier? How are these roles different than the event planner’s? Do I really need all of these people on my team?

We often hear “event planner” and “event production team” used interchangeably, but the roles and responsibilities of both of these teams is incredibly different – and incredibly important to producing an incredible event.

In this blog, we share everything you need to know about these two distinctive roles.

“This is giving me so many ideas for my next event.”

At the end of June, we were finally able to host clients, industry partners, and community leaders as we showed off our new facility during our open house. Over the course of the two-day event, our guests built new connections, explored our space and event solutions, and learned more about all the ways we support live events (and, with our new XR Studio, video production as well!)

In this recap, we share some of the experiences our attendees enjoyed and what their takeaways were.
