An AVentPro Technician looking at a run of show while working on an event

What is a Run of Show?

If you’re someone who spends a great deal of time on show site or collaborating with event teams, you’ve probably heard the term “run of show” more times than you can count! But if you don’t interact with it personally, you might be confused about what exactly a run of show is – and why it’s so important. In our recent blog, we answer the most common questions about the run of show. What is it? How is it different than an event agenda? Who creates it? What information does it contain? Read the blog to find out everything you need to know about the run of show.

The AVentPro logo with text reading "Celebrating 19 Years!"

In March the AVentPro team celebrated our 19th anniversary and reflected on how far we’ve come as an organization. We’re proud of the impact we’ve had on our clients and the way our team has grown. We’re excited about the future. To the clients and partners we’ve worked with for years, thank you for your continued partnership. To those we haven’t worked with yet, we can’t wait to partner with you on your future projects.

Thank you for an amazing 19 years – we can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Supporting Canadian AV Professionals

It’s the perfect time to support Canadian-owned businesses. As founding members of the Canadian Audio Visual Providers Association (CAVPA) we’ve always been passionate about uplifting fellow Canadian AV professionals, building a dynamic community of Canadian event experts, and keeping money local. As you consider who you’ll partner with for events in the coming year, from caterers to venues, event planners, and AV professionals, we encourage you to choose Canadian-owned teams.

Increasing Warehouse Efficiency

After moving into our new office (and much larger warehouse!) we invested in new 18ft pallet racking. This upgrade gives us more vertical storage, maximizes space, and creates extra room on the floor for better organization. The result is an event prep process that is easier, faster, and more efficient. We love that our new spaces gives us the opportunity to continuously update our operations to bring greater organization and efficiency to our warehouse.

AVentPro Conversations: Dignity House

Margaux Miller and Garry Hale recently sat down with Dignity House’s Fundraising Coordinator Bronwyn Hughes. Bronwyn shared the organization’s mission to help victims of trafficking, abuse, and other complex trauma and why fundraising events are crucial to their success.
